After graduating with honors from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville with a degree in Economics in 1985, Mr. Konuk has been continuously active as an investment manager for well for over 30 years, having been named a "Five Star Wealth Manager" in Naples, Florida for the years 2012-2016,* and receiving numerous other awards and distinctions throughout his career.
Prior to forming PWMG, Mr. Konuk served as a Vice President of Investments at Prudential Securities, Paine Webber (UBS), and finally at Smith Barney (Morgan Stanley.)
In 2005, Mr. Konuk founded Private Wealth Management Group, LLC in an effort to establish an organization free from the conflicts of interest often associated with proprietary product sales and research at many Wall Street firms, and to dedicate himself and his staff solely to providing highly personalized levels of service and counsel to a limited number of families in matters relating to individual client portfolio management, retirement income planning, and to advanced wealth accumulation and transfer strategies.
